I hope you guys aren’t too sick of New Year posts. I know we are more than a week into 2014 already, but I am still thinking about fresh starts.
Last week sometime I saw a quote on facebook that took me to this month’s message from the first presidency of the LDS church (If you are interested, you can read the full article here.) The message talks about the hope of making a new start, and this proverb has stuck with me: “The best time to plant a tree is twenty years ago. The second best time is now.”
There are plenty of things I should have done or wish I had done in the past, but I love the thought that there’s still time.
I made up a little printable to remind me to get busy doing what I want to do. I printed off a few 5×7 versions to mail to friends.
Linking up at some of my favorite parties.

I kid you not, I JUST made the same magnet board in the same exact way (with a different fabric) and thought it was so genius. We are great minds, I guess 🙂

Love this printable. I'm a landscape architect (before a mama and a blogger) so I gotta love me some tree planting talk! Thanks for sharing with us.

What a great quote! It reminds us to stop kicking ourselves about what we haven't gotten done in the past, and start getting things done now. Thanks for sharing!
